Scanning A Document About Al Green

Today we scanned an article that was published in 2005. It was a biography and an interview of Al Green. It's a text about Al Green's career / the career of Al Green. We learnt he sang many kinds of music, like Gospel or soul...

In the late 1970s, he gave up pop music for spiritual music ; indeed in 1974 he stopped music, because his girlfriend tried to kill him and killed herself / committed suicide after. That was because she was jealous. After his girlfriend's suicide, he changed his life for a spiritual life. He bought a church in Memphis, and made a study of soul music.

After a pause of a few years, he released an album in 2003. This new album made more than 200.000 sales / His new album sold over 200.000 copies.
