Basic Vocab presentation
Today we started learning words to describe movies. We realised (to realise=se rendre compte / to make=réaliser (faire quelque chose / to direct=réaliser (un film) that the way shots are made can help us talk about a movie.
For instance (for example), there is a long shot in the beginning of Interstellar with a car going away, and a figure (une silhouette) stands alone. Then, a low angle close up reveals the sad, worried face of an old man, with an out of focus house in the background. It reminds us of the importance of describing first.

Vous trouverez ce message également sur le blog mis à votre disposition. Pour la mardi prochain, regardez Interstellar en VO sous titrée. Après votre visionnage,visitez le site IMDB pour en apprendre plus sur le film. Attachez vous sur l'équipe qui a réalisé le film, et demandez-vous s'il y avait un expert scientifique qui conseillait le réalisateur.
Préparez également quelques notes écrites sur :
- ce qui vous a plu dans le film
- le lien avec les deux thématiques Encounters / Imagination
- et enfin, les films, livres, oeuvres d'art ou faits historiques qui vous font penser à ce film.
